OK.. I'm not a rocker, and my first impression wasn't too favorable. As I let it play out it did grow on me. I could see this video accompanying a battle seen in Final Fantasy or Gears of War. Don't let my opinion weigh to heavy on you though because my music of choice is R&B. I would put this on if I were gaming though.

Hehe, thanks ames! It's not a lot of people's flavor, honestly it's not the kind of music I listen to every day. I usually go for a lighter folk rock (The Decemberists, Death Cab for Cutie, etc) on a daily basis. This was really fun to record, it took about 4 hours of being in a smoke-filled studio (I'm mildly allergic to cigarette smoke) to put down, and by the end of my time/end of the song, I was ready to get out.
Thanks for the compliments, C, if R&B is your usual flavor, I'm flattered that you appreciated it. Thanks!

I agree, it great! It has a semi NIN meets metallica feel.
Nice to see you around!

Thanks Hoodie! I don't remember your current SN, but thanks for giving it a listen. I'm the one singing, for the record. All the voices. ;D

I just saw this post for whatever reason, and I just have to rub in the fact that I heard it first! ;D

Thanks Hoodie! I don't remember your current SN, but thanks for giving it a listen. I'm the one singing, for the record. All the voices. ;D I started out as MissingU way, way back in the day...At some point, I changed to ColoMommy but people couldn't read it right (as some of you remember, there was a whole thread about the things people thought they were reading and name suggestions for a new name). That name change resulted in the one I have now but that did indeed come around after you were gone.

I like it!!
I listen to EVERYTHING. Most of the time R&B or hard rock...depending on my mood.

Thanks! I'm getting a wicked positive response to this song and it's really encouraging. I'm going to be going back in next week and sitting down with my producer/guitarist and writing some softer acoustic stuff, and that should come out beautifully. I'll be back when I have more!
