Yeah, it is still pretty innocent. They are all basically a bunch of friends hanging out at school in what rare free time they have. Her current "love interest" is a boy she hasn't even met but is a friend of a friend who didn't even want her picture if she was at all violent (he is a total pacifist, which she told me happily as she told me how much I would like him! lol) Their "romance" has been email conversations (which I read because all her email goes to me automatically - a fact she is aware of.) It is all very innocent. Luckily, she is still telling me this stuff. I dread the day when I stop hearing, and hope to stave it off as long as possible. So far none of her friends even kiss. Being bf/gf means you have each other's home number and call it, and give each other presents on present-giving days. (I think that is the part they all really want it for.) Of course, I also let her know it is ok to be on her own, ask Blazin, I am one of those women's libbers! I just want her to know she can keep talking to me... Shey

For what it's worth, it sounds an awful lot like notes that my friends and I used to pass when we were 10 (and even a little younger) -- though of course these were paper notes folded origami style and passed in class in a world prior to email. I'd think it was pretty innocent, though as murdock pointed out, I guess it depends on the world you live in. You know your daughter best to determine if it's something worth addressing or letting slide for now. Unless you have a serious concern, I'd lean toward the latter just because privacy is a HUGE thing with adolecent girls and you want her to know you respect hers.
I would want to volunteer in the classroom or on a field trip just to find out who this Tate character is, if you don't know him already. Not a bad idea to do anyway just to get a feel for what "liking" entails in your daughter's world, and if you need to be more vigilent.

Um... count me out -- I'm lost. (My best guess is a video game of some sort?)
