That is VERY true! It is like system overload. Oh, absolutely. Being over-tired, sick, stressed , not eaten, or in pain can dramatically affect my memory. It takes time and honest, supportive family or friends to tell you when you are 'off'. My fiance will tell me he thinks I sound like I'm headed for a 'spell'. That's when he suggests I eat and rest. He's always right and regretted when I didn't heed his advice. You can be on top of your game most of the time, but you throw in a combination of not feeling well, not eating wel, stress and everything changes. It takes time. I'm glad you're doing as well as you are.... T T, I think that this happens to almost everyone. I know that I don't have the memory issues as you guys do....but I find when I am stressed and overtired, I am having a bad day as well

Yeah, it could be considered overload, but when you have that problem, it's hard to not assume every single thing (even that that is normal for others) is not your fault. I generally get, 'At least you have an excuse'. I know they're being kind, but I'd much rather have no excuse and just forget because I'm human because this blaming everything on myself has become exhausting...especially with an ex that just revels in anything I forget.
