I belonged to a few forums connected to my art so I had a basic idea when I joined Ojar. It has a very simple/comfortable interface. I actually went into ojar to read... I don't have much experience with threads and boards... this is my first experience.

I made the mistake of sending my son off to family as I thought I needed some time alone to deal with some personal stuff. Now I regret it . I may call them up and see about being there for Easter. Being alone too much is B A D bad. Do you have young children to hide eggs for etc? I'm good... this week was a little hectic... but I am looking forward to tomorrow. What do you, or anyone else that is here, have planned this weekend?

My daugher, Madeline, is 13 and my son, Cruz, is 8. I took them shopping and bought them new clothes as part of their easter gift. I do have baskets planned and 2 plastic bags filled with plastic eggs that I have filled with candy. I thought I would throw like $5 in a couple to keep them interested. I might see Saucy and her fam tomorrow... I need to give Cash some easter candy when his mama ain't lookin.

My son is an adult now so there is no hiding eggs etc. That was so much fun and often we would find eggs months and months later LOL.
The youngest in our family is eight years old I think. He still enjoys it to some extent. I may call them up today, make something to bring over, desert or something and join the festivities. I find it really noisy over there and noise seems to irritate me lately. They are fun though. My sister in law and I were never close. Well , she is actually divorced from my brother now. My brother has chosen to have nothing to do with our family. This happened some years ago. Anyways, her and I have become closer since my accident and I think I like it! She is a bit crazy (good kind of crazy) so its never boring.

How do you find having a teenage girl? I am soo glad the teenage years are over. Mine was never "bad" in the classic teenage sense but there were a few years there where I wanted to ship him off to another planet due to "attitude" issues.

My daughter has been a really all around good kid.... good grades... honor roll... but I spoiled her. She is really sweet, everyone loves her. People are surprised at how intelligent she is, especially when they find out how old she is. Saucy's son absolutely is in love with her.
My son.... let's just say we are saving for bail instead of college. Boys are difficult... I love him to death, but if I don't keep him on a short leash he is going to cause trouble.
I think my kids represent my dual personality... I am a gemini... one got the calm intellectual stuff and the other got the party side.

Well I don't think it is about boys and girls at all. My boy was a walk in the park. Never a cig was smoked, a drug used, a beer drank. One stupid prank on a halloween is all I can recall. So I guess it comes down to personalities. LOL @ the bail thing My daughter has been a really all around good kid.... good grades... honor roll... but I spoiled her. She is really sweet, everyone loves her. People are surprised at how intelligent she is, especially when they find out how old she is. Saucy's son absolutely is in love with her. My favorite girlfriend was a gemini. is it because we are notorious for being tom cats in the sack? or because there is never a dull moment?

I have known my son's father since we were 11... and I remember what a little shit he was so when I see the signs in my son it horrifies me.. and I think I over react a little. He is very sweet and loving... but he isn't really good in social situations. He is starting to come around.
You sister-in-law sounds a lot like myself. (crazy = good). Noise bothers me too. I am part of a two man team... I work for an attorney and I handle everything in the office. You could hear a pin drop.
So... adult son, that must be fun. What is that like?
