Thinking aloud usually involves a more thought out conversation? One liners are confusing. You are thinking out loud where others can hear you. It is normal for people to ask for clarification in that case. Usually, if someone doesn't wish to share the more personal information, they then talk quieter when they are caught. You keep putting it out there, in a deliberately mysterious fashion.
