I am sorry for the name calling. That is beneath me. I haven't decided who I am going to vote for in this election. I haven't done any research on Obama. I'm leaning towards Guilani, but I haven't made up my mind. FYI, I am registered in Or as a Republican, though I didn't vote in the last primaries. I need to make up my mind in the next few days as the deadline to register to vote in the primaries is next week here. I shouldn't have called you liar, I apologize. I assumed you were a dem simply because your tactics seemed very dem-like when you accused McCain of something for which you provided no proof. But that's over with, doesn't matter anymore. Guiliani is, imo, for all intents and purposes, a Democrat. Not to mention, his whole platform is "look how great I was as mayor of New York city". He seems like a real weasle, but that's just my take on him. i agree with blazin on this.. the only thing Guiliani can seem to talk about is 9-11!

I have no idea and I actually may, for the first time in my adult lifetime, not vote.
Truth is no longer important to either side so I see no point.

Asking someone who they're going to vote for right now is like asking someone who just started dating around who they're going to marry. It's so early in the process, the answer is irrelevant.
I'll entertain this question once we're down to two viable options. Not that that's right, but that's the way the system works.

Well, I've got nothing solidified right now either, other than it will be a cold day in hell before I ever vote for Hilary or Obama. I guess I just wanted to find out where our members weigh in on certain issues and which candidate they might be leaning towards. Socialized health care, increased taxes, abortion, gay marriage, stem cell research, immigration, open borders to the south, the war on terror, national security, pressure on countries that blatantly abuse human rights, etc. There's a lot of issues at stake here. Voters need to make themselves aware of where each of the candidates sits on these issues.

i agree blazin! politics is so hot button.. i would really like to discuss the other candidates, and issues without bitch-slapping. it would be stupid to not start looking into other candidates right now.
havent really read much on Mccain... so tell me about him.

havent really read much on Mccain... so tell me about him. One thing you'll notice if you listen to McCain talk is that he's doesn't use political jargon and tip toe around issues. He's very straightforward, he doesn't beat around the bush. I like him because he doesn't leave me wondering what his real agenda is. With McCain, what you see is what you get. He doesn't hide his emotions and that tells me he has a more difficult time being disingenuos and dishonest. He's not afraid to confront people, he's not afraid to confront corrupt foreign leaders. He wants to crack down hard on illegal immigration, he acknowledges extremism and terrorism as a very real threat to our nation. He wants to lower taxes, not raise them as the dems do. Most of all, the guy has more experience than any of the other candidate and it's my belief that he knows the issues facing our country better than any of the other candidates.

I'll be voting for Obama in the primary. I think Obama-Dodd would be a great ticket. We'll see how it all pans out.
