This girl at work was in my office with her wedding album. (second marriage) It was all oooo's and aaah's. I was commenting on her picutres, "what a cute kid", "that's a great picture," etc.
Then I came to a picture of her standing at the alter with her man and under the picture it read, "Dearly Beloved." I froze and my arms went cold. I couldn't look at the picture anymore.
I consciously thought I'd like to get married again one day, but that was an unexpected reaction. I guess that tells me where I am on my own marriage spectrum.
Bleah......gotta go shake it off.

Maybe freezing and going cold doesn't mean that you don't want to get married again, maybe that particular picture just dragged up a whole mumbo-jumbo of feelings, good and bad, conflicted feelings about your ex, etc. Certainly understandable.
Either way, not a great experience.
(((Hugs))) to you.

shattered - thanks for your kind wishes.
I'm not freaking out over it. In fact, we made a joke when she looked at me and said, "It can work out again." I told her she was my inspiration.
I'm just surprised by my reaction.

Sounds like you took another of the nice steps to healing some more. Seriously you faced something and felt all of the emotions that come with it.
