I have given Her my Phone Number and told Her if She wants to go on a date tyhat She can call me. Okay, step #1 - Don't tell her to call you if she wants to go out. You get her number and call her. That's how it works. Despite all of the stuff about equality and egalitarianism, which I do believe, guys ask girls out, not the other way around. That's just how life is, accept it and move on. Not saying women can't ask men out, they just usually don't.

Well, depending on the situation, I don't think that "keep trying to get her number" is a good idea.
If she's said no once, and certainly if she hasn't given it to you after several requests, continuing to ask her for her number could be extremely annoying, to say the least.

I would suggest asking for her number without giving her yours in the future.
If she already has yours and has not called...she does not want to give you her number.

you have a point, but once you give yournumber it is creepy to ask for hers the next time you see her. So just ask for her number and then you dont' have to worry about missing her call.

All of this guys giving numbers talk reminds me of the place I used to waitress for a while while I was in college -- a family-owned 50s style diner. We used to take the numbers that the guys would leave us with the tips and post them on a bulletin board. I always thought it was kind of funny that guys continued to leave their numbers even after knowing where they were going to end up. I guess it's the eternal optimism of the male ego. ;D

Not a guy who would leave his number for every waitress in town probably. But, regardless, I don't call boys. I let them call me.
