We have a Wii, and have been looking for a Wii fit - has anyone tried it yet? I am wondering how desperate I am willing to get and have put in a few bids at ebay. I am a cheapskate, though, I won't pay more for an online place than I would in a store...

You have to feel kind of sorry for the poor sucker who spent hundreds on a new wii only to pawn it for probably about $100.

Drug use makes people pawn things they shouldn't.

Ok - I did it - I bought one on ebay, only used about 5 times, and for $86 total. When I get it (because I am always nervous about getting things until they actually show up) and try it out I will post in something wonderful - I am so excited!

me too...just wondering how intense and varied it is as a workout.....and if it is worth the money if you're not really a gamer. The only thing I've actually tried out on it was the boxing game, which rocked and seemed like a good workout. My thinking right now is that I wouldn't get my money's worth....but maybe if I picked up one on eBay.... I wish one of my closer friends had one....then I could try it out before dropping the money into it.....they never seem to have one set up at the stores for whatever reason.

They don't have it in stores because they are always sold out - and on ebay right now the new ones are going for $125 and up (they are 89.99 in most stores). Even the used ones (rare) are usually going for over the store price - this seller just happens to be a newbie with a very low record so most people wouldn't take a chance. I do, that is what the PayPal guarantee is for...
She sent me an email on Saturday apologizing for not getting to me sooner (the auction closed on Friday) and said it would ship today. I am thinking I will know before the end of the week! Woo-hoo!

Enjoy, Shey. A couple of my friends have it and are really enjoying it. If the system alone weren't so bloody expensive I'd consider getting it just for the WiiFit. (Though they do have some fun party games, for sure. LOVE Guitar Hero! ;D )
