Okay, so I have another date this weekend! I am so excited. I can start by saying K and I are still talking but after our drunken make-out session the night of my class reunion, I think we've just gone back to the way things were before then. I am a firm believer in what is meant to be will be when the time is right. So, if it's supposed to be him and I, one day, we will be and maybe now isn't the time.
The other guy that I was supposed to have a date with, well, that did not turn out so good. He actually admitted to hitting on my cousin while we were out. When I heard from him a few days later, he acknowledged it again and then proceeded to blame it on me! WTF?!?! Okay, so he's out...
Last week, my friend's husband decided since I was coming up for a bbq at their house, he wanted to invite a friend. Thank heaven he'd talked to me about it a couple days earlier or it might have been very weird. But, he invited his friend and it was a really fun night of us all just hanging out an playing games. So, we both stayed the night and in separate rooms. Before he left the next day, he asked for my number. We started talking Tuesday and have talked the last few evenings. Even if it just boils down to texting as I am taking care of the kiddos, we've stayed in some form of back-and-and forth communication most nights for about 4-5 hours. We have a lot in common. My only hang-up is that he's younger than me. But, it could be fun to just hang out! So, we'll see.
I tend to attract a lot of weird guys or lazy guys or whatever. Their idea of a date almost always is, "Hey, do you want to come hang out at my house and watch a movie?" And, while that can be all fine and good, there are no dates! Well, we are going on a date this weekend. Dinner...Probably a movie...Something. I'm not really sure. But, he's been very sweet and trying to plan something I'll like. He just got his new house, painted and did all kinds of things so he said he'd like to show me (as I can tell he's VERY proud of it) but wanted to make sure I'd be comfortable. Anyway, it's just a nice change of pace. Wow, 3 actual dates with 3 different guys in about 6 weeks...I'm doing good! My social life isn't usually this eventful!
