People who don't know the Difference between Russia and the USA Have never watched the TV News or read a Newspaper They are coming to the USA by the Millions They are Fleeing Russia by the same amount Well, lets see Freckles: According to Homeland Security, in the year 2006 (sorry 07's numbers were not listed yet), 13,188 people immigrated from Russia. So by your estimation of "millions", you are approximately 986,812 people off.

Well, lets see Freckles: According to Homeland Security, in the year 2006 (sorry 07's numbers were not listed yet), 13,188 people immigrated from Russia. So by your estimation of "millions", you are approximately 986,812 people off. I did not say in one year You are correct. You did not say in one year. However, you implied that the rate of immigration from Russia is in the millions. At the current rate of immigration from Russia (~13,000 per year), it would take approximately 77 years to reach the 1,000,000 mark. So, it would seem that they are not "Fleeing" Russia or coming to the US in the millions, unless you consider it at a rate of millions per century. And if you consider that rate, then consider that in 1995, the US census bureau did a study that found that approximately 27,000 US citizens per year are leaving the US and emigrating to other countries (Estimation of the Annual Emigration of U.S. Born Persons by Using Foreign Censuses - www.census.gov/population/www/documentation/twps0010/twps0010.html). So in fact, more US citizens are leaving the US for other countries than Russian immigrants coming to the US.
