Totally agree, Rocko... As for personal experience - my dad didn't have it done and was MAD at his mom for it (but he wasn't born in a hospital) and my ex had it done and was MAD at his mom for it - she took it without his choice. Like Saucy said in another thread - damned if you do, damned if you don't. I am rather with JC on this one. The dad can talk about the "whys" with his own son when he starts asking about it. This way it won't be your fault either way! SOOO glad I had girls! ;D Shey

We'll know tomorrow after 3 - provided they got good "pictures". (The X-ray place has a policy of not telling patients, but instead sends a report to the doctor). I appreciate all the comments and feel better about agreeing with my husband! ;D

They dont' tell you during the ultrasound there... With my first (5 now) I had the lady not tell me. I had her write it down and put it in an envelope. NExt time my exh (husband at the time) called I opened it and read it over the phone with him. She still slipped and said "he" during the procedure.

They dont' tell you during the ultrasound there... Nope.. crummy isn't it? Some clinics here do, and some don't. She chose her words sooo carefully too. Though she did say "get back here sport" when baby squirmed away.. so maybe boy?? lol.

I wanted a boy the first time just because the ex wanted one and I wanted him to be happy. The second time I wanted a boy bc I always said if I had two kids I wanted TWO of the same sex.

i have a hippy friend who did the whole home-birth thing with two children, and another one on the way. i mean this chick is an all natural chick who is raising her children to be all natural (even diapers aren't disposable)..she doesnt even immunize her children, she is totally AGAINST circumcision, doctors, the whole bit. organic freak..
She even gave me a book that said "How to Raise A Healthy Child, In Spite of Your Doctors".
I guess, nowadays, there's alot going around that because of some doctors practice, leads to some childbirth complications..my friend is totally against doctors.

Sometimes you can't breast feed Freckles. My middle child was premature, when I tried to breast feed him he got horrible jaundice and he ended up in the hospital. His liver couldn't process it and he HAD to go on formula.
