If a girl starts signing her letters "Love, <insert name>" does that mean she loves me?

No, it only counts if she actually uses her real name.

No, it just means that you are more than a casual acquaintance. A lot of people use that as a closing, or call people sweety, hun, or babe and it doesn't mean that they are "in love" with the person.

Um, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel comfortable calling her sweety or hun. That would definitely mean gf.

Um, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel comfortable calling her sweety or hun. That would definitely mean gf. I was talking to a male friend a few months ago on the phone and when the call ended without thinking I said "love ya". No, I wasn't nor am I in love with him now. Of course he freaked. It's how I end most phone calls with friends. Some people are just more open to little terms of endearment, and are more affectionate. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. I call most people sweety or hun. Only worry if she actually ends with "I love you". For me it has rolled over from all the little pet names I have for the kids and has become more of a habit than anything else. I called someone "sweet pea" one day without even thinking. That was a little embarasing.

IT really depends on the person. I would put "love, Shanna" on something if I care about someone as a friend. In the dating world though if I was talking to a guy I would not put"Love," in there unless I love that person, like a boyfriend or girlfriend.
I guess it really depends on the person and situation.
