Starting tomorrow I will begin exercising at least 45 minutes 3 days per week in an attempt to get back in shape.
I can't even imagine what my cholesterol level is at this point.
I feel so BIG

He seems to get off on this. All the while calling me the instigator. It's a good example of a hypocrasy for those who are interested.

When I was married I was big as a bear...............now I have whittled away to a slimmer me. You know they say you eat when you are happy. That should tell you my state of mind now!

well, since i am a bit of a control freak, and my life is spinning out of control, im going to start a diet. trying the south beach diet. i weigh 165..(omg!) and i will be posting my progress.

Jc, this is what I have been doing for a few weeks to keep an eye on my eating habits. I don't do it to lose weight but to really be aware of my food choices for a healthier lifestyle. I would assume it would help with weight loss too.
I made a word document with two columns, one for the time, the other for what you eat.
I write down everything for each day.
It makes me think twice when I go to reach for something unhealthy.
It also gives you an opportunity to evaluate how you eat, when you eat............your pattterns.
Just a suggestion...

It's time for me to get back to where I need and want to be.
I'm so disappointed, this summer I was down to a size 3. I was eating right and exercising almost every day. I've put on about 15 pounds and I just feel icky.
It won't be fun the first couple of months, but I really need to get back on a healty diet. Getting the toxins out of your system from junk food is not a pleasant process, but the feeling afterwards is good.
I guess I need to focus on how much better I felt then as a motivator. I had more energy, and my overall general health was better. It's a good feeling.

I'm jumping in the weight loss wagon... I've got to get rid of these "Happy Pounds" I've put on over the past 4-5 months... I didn't lose 80 pounds over the past year and a half for nothing! I've got 25 pounds to drop, I should be able to do it in about 2-3 months...

Went to the gym last night - 30 minutes cardio, 10 minutes abs, 20 minutes weights.

Ok, I like Idoc, topped out in the above 220 region a couple years ago. The divorce diet helped me drop 30 lbs in a VERY short amount of time. I was in the best shape of my life. Then I started dating again...And now I have gained 10 - 15 of those back. It really hit home when I went climbing a couple weeks ago and my harness was tight.
So now I am at an even 200.
So, I am jumping on that bandwagon too. Raft season starts in a few months. So I need to drop the poundage so I can take my shirt off in public again.
My plan: Mon / Wed 1 - 2 hours of Capoeira Tues: 30 min run if I can break away at lunch (and the weather is decent Thurs: Weights at the gym or 30 - 45 min swim. Sat / Sun: Climb or Snowboard
