My plan of not dating anyone I like has miserably backfired. I'm starting to actually like this guy! We have a lot of fun together; I'm always laughing with him. We have the same goals and dreams!

I'm trying to hold back as much as possible. It's hard though. I don't know how to date, only how to be a girlfriend. I haven't called him or even e-mailed him unless it's a reply to his actions.

I promised myself to not date anyone exclusively until 6 months have passed and I'm sticking to it. Now that I like him though, I feel like I should just end it. I think I'm afraid of getting my heart smooshed again. He's not like anyone I've ever dated before, and I feel all scared and unsure. I haven't felt this way in a looong time.

Be careful - you might be getting happier. There's still hope, though, so don't give up. Stick to whatever plan you have in place, even. . . heck, especially if all signs lead you to think otherwise.

My old flame came back in to my life a few weeks ago. I have been married for 20 years and have been going thru hell for the last year and a half. I have been out with him a few times and he has turned in to a wonderful man. wow it is nice to know that there are still good men out there!!

Is there any need to make a decision about what to do? I mean, continue to date him, but keep a sense of yourself. Do you need to give everything up because you like this guy?
