I just had to share. Last week when I was sick I dozed off on the couch. I woke up to my youngest checking my forehead for a fever and giving me a kiss on the cheek.
It was so sweet.

I was taking my girl to preschool this morning and she saw the police man who stands at the intersection directing traffic in the morning.
She says mom, I know who that is..........and I kinda distractedly said oh yeah? She says yeah that is the which way man, then mimicked him directing traffic saying he does this and tells you which way to go. I was stunned lol, I kinda laughed and said you are so right, how did you get so smart. And she says from my shoes. ;D *giggle* She cracks me up

When my son was younger (he is 17 now) he had just learned how to write his name, he wrote his name in the dust on my mothers car. she told him grampa is going to get mad at you for that, he turned around and looked at her and said I should have wrote grandma then he would have got mad at you.

We were all sitting at the table for dinner. My preteen was getting snotty, and picking on my middle child (who is whiny and anxious anyway). Harry and I were getting involved, reprimanding both bickering girls when the middle child starting being really upset. The youngest, who had been silently eating this whole time pipes up into the rare moment of silence "well Kori (the middle child) at least you still have me!"
Needless to say, the fighting and crying was all done in the midst of the laughter. Gotta love easy children!

My daughter hooked the microphone up through the keyboard about three days ago.
Every day since then my youngest (6) has been doing karaoke to "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and "Desparado" every afternoon.
He really gets into it and brings the house down. I end up laughing so hard my belly hurts.

Oh, it's hilarious. I've called several people so they can hear him. We all bust a gut when he gets going.

My youngest (4) called and left a message for me while I was at school. He was laughing really hard and I couldn't understand him at first. Then I had an AH HA moment. "I washed my hands in the toilet". Yah, my parents told him to go wash his hands...he can't turn on the water. I guess he saw the toilet and decided...well there is water and he took the soap over there and cleaned it up reallly good. Luckily mom had bleached the toilets that morning.
