joined an online dating forum this evening.
used to be a part of a non-paying one before. got me a few dates, but nothing at all serious. so this time, i am paying a few bucks, and seeing what that does for me.
have already been on for well over 2 hours, chatting to people. amazing how many people will talk to you even when you don't have a profile or pic up yet. those are the ones that make me a bit nervous.
so.....three months....guess i'll see where it goes. but 2008 is the year i take control of my life, so this is one thing that i am doing. i need to meet new people, outside of my social circle. even if it doesn't end up in relationships, at least i am trying.

Good luck!
My experience with dating online was educational and entertaining, but nothing substantial came out of it. I did have a couple-month relationship with one girl, but she broke it off (twice...)
I ended up going on a lot of dates, but having few relationships. But everyone's different, I guess. I think for me that whatever that thing or spark or attraction is that you can see in real life is harder to convey online.
