How much longer is this flu going to last? I am withering away to nothing. I am sick of being sick.
My eyes are burning. I am so tired but I cannot sleep due to body aches.
I cannot eat though I am starving...........
I had some soup today finally but my body rejected it.......and now my son has it too and I am trying to take care of him.
Whine over

I am craving fruits but the heartburn is too bad so I am sipping milk. If you have Heartburn Milk is the last thing you need I used to have ulcers (They took out 1/2 my tummy) Milk makes you feel better, THEN it makes more Acid. Ice Water helps for Heartburn If you go to Dr with Ulcers/Heartburn etc They give you Ice Water Not Milk

Ugh, the flu sucks. I'm sorry you're sick. And amazed that you can stomach milk!
If chicken broth is a no-go, try some (flat) ginger ale. Or better yet, gatorade, to replace the electrolytes in your body.

I am surprised I am drinking the milk too as I cannot stand milk. It was just an idea that came to me when the heartburn was keeping me up in the night and it worked. I dreamt about gingerale last night but we are both too sick to go to the store. Where is my future hubby when I need him? He is probably dating some loser chick to work out some issues before he meets the new love of his life (me) Ha, I have a great imagination. Ugh, the flu sucks. I'm sorry you're sick.
