Has anyone done any sort of distance education? I'm super interested in going back to school, but I really don't have any "free" time to attend classes, and I'm looking mainly at colleges that offer distance learning. I'm finding a lot of crap certificate offerings, though. Does anyone know of a school that offers this sort of thing, but with degrees other than IT & Business?

Thanks for the tip, finding. I didn't see exactly what I was looking for, but I appreciate your help!
I ended up biting the bullet and applying this morning at a local junior college. At least I can get some of the basics out of the way while I'm figuring out the next step. I'm so excited!!
shey, I'll probably end up with a general Liberal Arts degree, English degree, or History degree. Hopefully, English.

Be sure that you are able to Teach School with your degree
You dont want to be Fliping Burgers with a Degree like a lot of people end up doing

Thanks for the advice, Freckles. I already have a career, though.

I am currently taking an online university course and it is a major time commitment.....I spend at least 20 hours a week on it. It's very interesting and will be invaluable to me (after I retire from my current career) but I am getting a bit run down from burning both ends of the candle....however, I no longer spend tons of time thinking about my ex/divorce, so that's a definate plus.

The college I attend has a program where I attend once a week for four hours. 6pm-10pm. Each class is 5 weeks.
Maybe there is something like this near you.
I will be graduating in December...if all goes as planned.
