can you demand they do the tests? Tell them you dont' need another guess, but a true diagnosis?

effing military doctors. i'm losing my mind. i even layed one on my sitter this morning. she called me to pick my son up because now she's starting to itch, and i said why, and she told me that he's itching again. I asked if she washed everything and santized everything like toys, like i asked her to, she kept going on and on about how she does it every 3 days anyways and she doesnt think its that, I told her whtever it is, its being cross-contaminated between my house and your house, so just freaking clean your dam house.
I don't even feel like taking him back there tomrow or for the rest of the week. but i already paid her for 5 days. ugh. i'm soo iritated. i guess if that anti-fungal cream don't work, i guess its time to change doctors.
i also interviewd another sitter, it went great. but i don't want him starting over there until he's all cleared up.

Can you get the military doctor to give him a referral to a dermatologist? I know everything is done by referral and they are a pain to get, but I was able to get them when needed.

they told me that if the new cream doesnt work, THEN they'll get me the referral. i asked if what he has was contagious, they said NO. It doesnt look like scabies because it should be obvious, it's not mumps, or measles or chicken pox. WTF is wrong with my son

well, its red. bumpy because he's been scratching. it looks like hives, or mosquito bites, when it gets bumpy. it doesnt look that bad to be honest. i took him to the doctor because the sitter said that SHE was starting to itch, so just for precautionary reasons for contagiousness. Its not however contagious. I AM fine, not itching anywhere.

This looks extreme to me. My son is diagnosed with excema. I think that it comes in so many shapes and forms and it is basically the catch all word for rash that doesn't look contagious.
