OK, I'm not really having an affair with my tennis coach (even though he is a hottie...) I just wanted some attention. But I have just started tennis lessons once a week. The whole reconciliation thing with the ex is moving VERY slowly. Feels like 3 steps forward 2 steps back all the time. So I decided that I needed to focus more on outside interests and ideally combine that with my weight loss aims. Also, considering that my ex is still not "ready" to so much as kiss me on the lips, excercise is the only physical excitment on the menu these days. I was always interested to have lessons but it seemed like such a "just off to our house in the Hamptons for the weekend" kind of a thing to do. However I've overcome my reverse snobbery and it is actually great fun. I am unfortunately atrocious - my teacher asked me to show him my serve, watched, went quiet for a minute then said "Right, let's start from the basics then...." But I thought it might be a good way to meet some new people too as well as stay fit. I'm getting on really well with my personal trainer at the gym too - getting addicted to that endorphin rush. Excercise is officially the new sex.

Excercise is officially the new sex. It's not as good.

ROFLMAO I can't imagine what would be said about my skillz. I am soo uncoordinated. Good for you for going out and having intrested away from him. That is one of the healthiest things you can do for a relationship in my opinion. (disclaimer: as long as those intrests do not include clubbin' and other things that regulary lead to cheating. )

This is funny because I just recently read somewhere (sorry, it was either People or a womens mag) about a study of cheating and how different cultures view it and in Japan they do not look down upon affairs, but treat them like a physical activity similar to that of a "game of tennis."

Well I guess they both do involve fuzzy balls.
