What a dumbass this guy is.
WTF? First from what I understand(and correct me if I am wrong), he could not even make a half hearted attempt and concerted effort to try and develop a relationship with Mel after she got preg. And now that his baby is sick, everyone is looking for him and he is nowhere to be found. Are you freaking kidding me? Who does something like this?

If that was the case, then I am wrong in my comment and can't fault the guy for that. Still I cant fathom how during a situation like this the guy can just disappear. I would walk out of a meeting with Christ, Catherine Zeta Jones and Tiger Woods if a phone call came in telling me that my child was seriously ill. |

I know the two stories I have heard don't match. Either way he needs to answer the phone at this time and give his history. The past is just that, the past.

I don't know either of them (as they were at OJAR before I arrived there) but I will keep your baby in my thoughts, Mel.

Update: The father did finally respond with a text of the health history. Hayden is still very ill and has been diagnosed with RSV and Pneumonia. Mel needs all of our prayers as does sweet baby Hayden. He is in a good hospital and they are doing all they can.  Thanks, ATL |

He has had 3 runs of RSV and pneumonia and he is 4. His first time was when he was 8 weeks old... Thanks for the update...keeping them in my prayers. |

My daughter (now 9) had this about 6 yrs ago and was in the ICU at the leading peds hospital in Utah for about 2 weeks, on oxygen at home for another month...
It is scary stuff

I'm glad he responded (although why do they care about a health history with pneumonia/rsv???)
I am definitely sending the baby well-wishing thoughts. Poor little one - not being able to breathe is so scary!

My 5 year old had this at 7 months (very minor) and severly at 24 or so months. He was on oxygen and everything. It was sooo stressful.
I am praying for Hayden and MEl.
