sorry that i haven't been around for a while.
my grandma just passed away last monday. it's been a bit stressful because we've had to wait for an uncle to come back from a vacation before having the funeral.
the funeral is tomorrow, and i am a bit stressed about it. being the oldest grandchild, i have to do a reading for the funeral. i wrote it this evening, and even though my mom loved it, i can barely get thru it. i can't even read it without tearing up. so i am a bit stressed about things. i just want it to be 5pm tomorrow evening, when i will be having burgers at my favourite burger joint with my sister and her boyfriend and my cousins.
so....please just keep me in your prayers. we just lost my grandpa last may, so it's been less than a year...and i've lost both grandparents on one side. i need the strength for my dad, as this has been a horrible loss for him. the classic case of dying of a broken heart.

So sorry to hear of your loss, LT. You are in my prayers. I am sure you will represent them beautifully when you get up to speak. I had to do this a few weeks ago for my cousin and somehow you find the strength.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss LT. As Angelbaby say, you will do fine.. and even if you tear up a little, you will still do fine.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your father.

I am so sorry for your loss - losing two grandparents within a year! I am sure you will do fine, even if you break down, it is ok, other people there love her too and would understand.

I lost both my grandparents within a year of eachother. I was the hardest thing I have ever been through. It is really hard to get through a reading at a funeral. I stayed focused on the words and tried to not get lost in my emotions because I wanted people to remember what I was saying. I had my melt down as I was walking down. You and your family are in my prayers.

Girl, I'm sorry it's taken me a while to tell you how sorry I am for you. I know the day I lost my grandma was a HUGE day in my life. I was asked to help prepare her body and to speak at her funeral and I just couldn't do it. I'm a crier and could never have gotten through it.
In many ways, I admire you will be able to know you did it, it's something I've regretted, but still know I could not have done it.
We're here for you. Please know we don't underestimate the impact grandma has in one's life.
