My back has been fucking killing me. The knot beneath my sholder blade is huge and I hurt like hell even with the percoset or hydrocodone.

Have you ever tried a chiropractor? Those kinds of things go away for me right after an adjustment. How about a massage?

Yes, go to a chiro and also get a massage.
I started in January and have never slept so well.

I hope you haven't torn your rotator cuff. If you have insurance I would really suggest seing an orthopedic surgeon. Hope you feel better.

No, my oldest boy jumped off the top bunk of his bunkbed when I was pregnant with his little brother. I broke at least one rib when I caught him, but because I was pregnant at the time there was nothing I could do and it healed wrong.

I still think ortho is the best way to go. They can probably perform surgery and shave the bone or do something to help. Shot of cortizone mabe?

When I woke up this morning my left leg was tingling and numb from the hip to below the knee. It still hurts now at the hip joint.

It still hurts now at the hip joint. tingling and numbness into the legs is from discs in your lower back.... probably from child birth. you are probably over compensating due to the shoulder.... I bet cortizone injections would help (up to 6 months with one shot) and you wouldn't have to do the pain pills, which can lead to further injury because you can't feel the pain.

Those puppies hurt though. I had to have a few when I hurt my hand a few years ago. I had a series of them in the first knuckle of the right ring finger on the palm side after I got my hand slammed in a door. That was beyond not pleasant.
I had all three kids naturally. I thought that kind of injury came from having an epidural.

Actually, the discs shift because you have a chemical in your body during the time you are carrying that loosens joints (which is what allows your hips to flex open a little wider). With the additional weight hanging in front of you, it pulls on your lower back bones, which move easier because of that joint loosening hormone. Usually as soon as you give birth your muscles/tendons pull everything back in line, but if you were compensating for another injury, you may still have things out of alignment.
Again, though, I would suggest a chiropractor long before drugs. They might do an x-ray to determine if that is the best course for you - but they are safe and covered by pretty much every insurance now. A cortisone shot will not put things back in place - it just basically deals with the pain. (which might be making you compensate in other ways which pull other things out of joint). Either way, you should see SOMEBODY before it gets worse or makes something else go wrong. Think of your body like a car - it is so much easier to get an oil change than a whole new engine!

I didn't realize they would be painful injections, our clients have never mentioned it.
Prolonged child birth and big babies really hurt the lower back.

My grandma says it is painful too - she gets them for arthritis. As painful as it is - it is worth it for the relief, though!
I love meds, but I do try for the non-drug interventions first...

I took a long walk before the boys got home and that seemed to help. My neck is looser and just popped and my hip isn't hurting now. The first block was a little rough as my leg was hurting, but it seemed to help.
