Admins can do whatever the fuck they want. An internet forum is not some sort of "business", or some sort of "service that is paid for". Yes, there are exceptions with some boards that charge members, and in that case, then the TOS bullshit might be somewhat relevant, but in the case of a board such as this one which doesn't cost you a bloody cent, and there are no implied promises, then PQ can tell you to suck your dick while at the same time say there is no cursing by any of the members, and if you don't like it, you have 2 choices..leave, or shut the fuck up. Or you can complain until the cows come home, for what good it will do you...of course if this IS cm, then he is simply starting an inflammatory post to get a reaction, and my post is rather pointless. Although it's really not pointless because this TOS debate comes up quite often, on various internet boards, and it's always the same tired old complaint about the admins being hypocritical or something. Again, if you don't like it, then find another board, there are literally thousands of them. OR better yet, find a life OFF the boards. That's been my strategy of late...and you know what? I really like it.  |

This is worse than hypocrisy, it actually undermines the very foundation and legitimacy of the board. This is true in that it exposes the admin as a sham and a parody masquarading as a do gooder. I cannot find the TOS, someone please direct them to me and I will point out word for word how they were violated. Off the top of my head, there was profanity and abusive language in the referenced post. cm wins cm |
