Three and a half years have passed since the real mess with the ex started. I have dated off and on during this time with only one semi serious relationship, all were disfunctional and were ended rather quickly. There were a couple that I thought might have gone somewhere, but the ex found out about them and ruined things just as they were getting started.
I never thought I could find someone decent, especially with the permanent baggage I have to carry with me. Let's face it, three kids at 33, and two with autism just off of the top of everything doesn't make it easy finding someone decent.
I finally listened to that inner voice, and a few key people around me that I deserved better than what I was getting and have found someone worthy of getting to know more. A normal relationship, who the hell would have thought that would ever happen for me?
There isn't a push-pull, no co-dependancy, no drama, BS, or someone pushing to make it more than what it is right now. It's the slow process of getting to know someone, the way it should be, with comprimises made on both sides without a fight. It doesn't feel strange or awkward, for the first time ever it feels right.
How the hell did this happen?

Congrats to you hun. It's hard sometimes when you don't feel deserving of the good things coming your way. Glad you've opened your eyes and heart to see you deserve something wonderful and come to the acceptance stage of "Yes, you can find it." Wishing you the best of luck with the process.

Introduce your breasts to him s-l-o-w-l-y.
Get him to the point of begging for them.
Trust me on this.

Give it time - the co-dependency, neuroticism, head-f@ck stuff usually comes after the honeymoon peeriod has worn off Seriously, I do so hope this works out for you - you deserve to be happy after everything you have been through. Best of luck with it.
