Who has it? and what are you doing to curb this defect w/o meds?

Not much you can do without meds.
A low dose of effexor seems to keep me nice and level.
Although I never had severe ups and downs..more like bumps and dips.

I have read that marijuana can have to distinct and opposite affects:
1) An anxious type person can get much more anxious and even paranoid on marijuana. That was my experience when I tried it years ago.
2) Other personality types can get more relaxed, and feel very calm and relaxes. I never felt that way.
I have never heard of medical marijuana prescribed for anything other than Glaucoma and possibly for chronic pain.

It actually doesn't help- but I do have a friend who is trying natural methods to cope with her bi-polar... she says it helps, I still worry about her. I can ask her what she uses, if you want - but I know it isn't reefer. That actually will make it worse.
Can you take a long walk outside, get the blood moving? That helps sometimes...

Once someone goes back to it that has been away from it for a while, it's really easy to get sucked back in.

Never found that to be the case for me.(At least in regards to bud) I could drop it for months, do it once or twice then not do it again for months or even years. I think it's been close to two years since I did it last.
