I don't know if I am overreacting or trying to ignore my intuition.
The guy I have been dating on and off for a year and 2 months had a married friend in town from Australia. Not just any friend, but his best friend. The guy was in town for 3 weeks. During this time bf went out with him several times, but I never got to meet him.
One Friday night, bf said he would call when he knew what the plans were and we would go out. He never called. Saturday, he said they were planning a late night fishing trip. It poured rain. Sunday, he didn't answer my call at 11 am. I freaked and drove to his house. He was still in bed and said the guy's son came down and they went out playing pool.
Another night, he said the married friend, picked up some chick, her hands down his pants, but never took her back to his hotel.
Last night, I was suppose to give him a ride to drop his car off for service. I had my kids and we waited and waited. I called at 7:45 and 9:00. No answer. So I sent a text at 9:15 and said "what the fuck?" Then I turned my phone off cause I was angry.
He left a voice mail at 9:36. He was angry saying he wanted to talk, but I wasn't answering my phone and something about "what about me and the night I had." He ended the VM with "later"
My gut tells me that he and his buddy were out picking up women. Fine. I was willing to think I was overreacting. The whole "bros before hos" thing.
But last night, I feel like if something happened, he should have at least apologized for keeping my and MY KIDS waiting. Instead, he is angry because I'm not answering my phone.
I called back twice after the VM and left a text. I know that's too much. I should have just called once. He hasn't responded to any of it.
I have trust issues with this guy anyway, based on previous events. Thus, the two break-ups.
I'm still f-ing angry. Am I overreacting?
