My daughter had to write an essay on who she would pick to have their picture put on a stamp. She chose her brother.
"The one person who I think should be honored is my nine year old brother, B. I have been with him his whole life and I know what he has done and I know what he is capable of.
The first reason I would want my brother's picture on a stamp is to make him feel like everyone else. He knows he is different, and he hates it.
But another reason he deserves the honor of having his picture on a postage stamp is because he has done many great things. Those great things may not be known to other people but they are still great. He can fix things in people that he hasn't fixed in himself. For example, he helped me with my self esteem, but he hasn't done anything for his. He helps people in so many ways. B makes everyone feel good about themeselves, no matter what. He puts everyone first.
So as you can see by what I wrote, B deserves to have his picture on a postage stamp. It would help him and it would help him help others."

It still makes me cry when I read it. What gets me the most is that while she was writing it she was mad at him.
He was being a total butthead to her and she still wrote something so sweet.
