He is a Wolf in Sheeps Clothing Yeah, i said the same thing to someone today. And it bothers me because I was leaning heavily toward his camp. But this latest revelation is disturbing to say the least. The other two candidates aren't moving me at all ... Depressing. This is the best American could dig up? These three?

Depressing. This is the best American could dig up? These three? Nope. Just three that corporate America can live with. (Or buy off) Probably both.

I watch FOX News They are the best I have been keeping an eye on this story for days. Watching it play out on CNN, MSN news, PBS news and even the local news and papers here in Chicago. All I know is that is that Foxnews is the only channel who is actually putting it all out there for the world to see when it comes to Obama. Has anyone else mentioned that Obama's church has actually given a lifetime achievement award for anti-white and anti-Jew hater Louis Farrakhan?Or that his preacher and Farrakhan travelled to Libya to meet with dictator Khadafi? Has anyone else mentioned Obama's affiliation with Bill Ayers from the 60's radical and terrorist group Weather Underground, who as recently as 2005 has spoken the same words as Obama's pastor did in regards to 9/11. This is just the latest coming-out in a long line of corrupt and shady people that Obama has supported, endorsed, cut deals with or worked with in his past. This list is getting way too long for him to become president. C'mon, Fluff. As far as Faux News and "the whole truth" goes, it's how far can we go to bash a dem candidate and not be sued. I agree with your assessment of Farrakhan, though. That's one black man that I have no problem labeling a racist. I don't have a big problem with the preacher's statement about 9/11. There's quite a bit of truth in it.

There's quite a bit of truth in it. If you want to call it Dem bashing, go ahead. But all I can say is they managed to show a whole lot more video of what nutjob Wright is all about than any of the other coverage I saw over the weekend. Even here in the local media. This isn't some bogus BS opinion here. It's actual video, man. Bitching about "white men like we are the devil", "Aids is a disease created by the government to kill black people,etc...." Why didnt the other stations or news organizations mention this? Why does no one else mention Wright and the church's ties to Farakhan? It pisses me off when the media out there chooses to omit certain aspects of a candidate's past that may be of relavance.

whether you believe he is racist or not the fact still remains, that if the roles were reversed, and hillarys white pastor was saying these things, the black people in this country would be rioting right about now.
obama got married in that church and his girls baptised, all under this guy.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see where attending a controversial pastor's church implies an endorsement of that pastor's politics. As was mentioned earlier, people attend a particular church for a lot of reasons, and I doubt the politics of the preacher are very high on that list. Probably looks different from your view from behind the grassy knoll, though, Fluff.

i think the thought process here is, if obama is close with this guy, what does that say about his judgment? his character?

It's not ONLY the endorsement of Wright, but rather a collection of bad endorsements and poor judgment calls by Obama over the years that have me questioning his ethics. Come on man, you've lived in town for a while. You more than anyone else on this board ought to know these things by now.

You more than anyone else on this board ought to know these things by now. I've lived in town long enough to know that NO ONE emerges squeaky clean from Chicago politics, and you should know that by now too. I've also learned that some (SOME) aspects of the Chicago political "machine" are somewhat of a self-perpetuating myth, largely because of the breathless news coverage applied to issues only marginally related to our core national issues. Just because I know more details about the local candidate doesn't mean the other candidates are better - it just means I don't have the same intimate familiarity with their careers. And I'm sorry, but I don't see past associations with radicals as a major character issue.

So if someone Plays Checkers with Adolf Hitler and has Picnics with Hitler at the Park That should be of no concern ?

you know what disgusts me....my grandfather is a republican and he voted for Obama because "he would rather have a N***** than a woman in the white house". I hate that my grandfather feels that way...I hate that he would say something like that, but he is still my grandfather and I still love him. I still spend time with him for holidays and all that good stuff. He is still family.

However the big difference here is that none of these other locals are running for president of the USA. It's one thing if a corrupt politician with a bad track record and the "machine" behind him screws up Cook county, but it's another when they are heading a world superpower. I think under the current circumstances-- questioning Obama's ethics have plenty of merit. There is a lot more at stake here than just a 10 percent sales tax.

You can't hold him responsible for his Pastor's beliefs.
