Anything betwen you and L isn't any of my business. I don't even know you. But someone should tell you exactly how disgusting your behaviour has been since February. So often in life the things which need to be said aren't because no one will "interfere". It isn't my place to do so but f@ck it, I'm going to anyway because you deserve to hear it and she deserves someone to say it.
You really are a cowardly POS D. I don't know many guys who could be rude and selfish enough to break up with someone they've been dating for over 4 years without even looking them in the eye let alone replace them with a new model and plaster the photos on facebook without even having the courtesy to mention it. Your behaviour is utterly repellant and completely unforgiveable.
It seems that most of L's friends thought she was too good for you when she was with you - fortunately you have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that they were right and thank goodness she now sees that very clearly for herself.
I don't know how you can call yourself a man when you don't even have the guts to be honest with someone who you spent so much of your life with or the consideration to treat someone you are supposed to have loved with kindness or respect. I am so thankful for L's sake that she has escaped being saddled with someone so pathetic.
How do you think you are now percieved by her family and friends - people who willingly welcomed you into their lives for L's sake? Was avoiding confrontation like a pathetic child worth losing your self-respect and the respect of others over? How are you going to deal with similar situations as you go through life? Or do you just not care about anyone or anything except yourself?
If you had been half the man L thought you were when she was with you you would have been incapable of handling this situation as callousy as you have done. A decent person acts with integrity and treats other people the way they would want to be treated themselves. I just hope one day someone treats you with a corresponding lack of regard.
Do enjoy your new party lifestyle in "footballers wives'" paradise but when it starts to wear thin and the superficial gloss rubs off don't start regretting what a loyal, loving and special person you have thrown away - because lets face it, why would L ever even want to be friends with you again after seeing what your character is really based on?
