My grandfather is sick and his kidney's aren't working, his blood pressure is totally screwed if he tries to get up and he has a blocked artery (sp). I can't go see him bc I am sick. Going to calll the doctor at 8 and try to get better fast.
My Aunt Evelyn has cancer again and is having a complete hysterectomy to try to stay alive.

I'm sorry, rocko... it's a lot to take in.
Just thought it might be worth mentioning that the kidney function may have something to do with the blood pressure. I'm sure his doctors know all of this, but I found it interesting to learn recently (from my dad's case). Generally they administer lasix (sp?) to try to get the body (kidneys) to expel fluid, but that also lowers blood pressure which can be dangerous. However the excess fluid leads to congestive heart failure which affects the blood pressure. It's a catch-22 in many ways.
Worst case scenario there is always dialysis, which isn't ideal but many people go on to live many more years while on it.
Sorry if this is info that doesn't apply -- I just find it comforting in some way to understand what's going on when a loved one is ill. If it's any consolation, they were practically signing my dad's death certificate and he seems to be improving as of yesterday. The human body is an amazing instrument.
I hope you feel better and stronger soon, as well...

Its tough when family is sick, all the thoughts about how things will change can be stressful and overwhelming. It is a part of life though and medicine has gotten so much better in the last 50 years. I'll be hoping for the best

I'll be sending positive thoughts your way and hoping that they get him on dialysis. That sucks that your aunt's cancer is back. It is alot to have happening all at once.
It never rains but it pours, eh?
