I have the one where you can listen to the Ipod through an empty FM radio frequency. Works fine, away from big cities where there aren't many frequencies being used....

JimB-
Can I ask which system you have? None of my friends have had luck... I am thinking of having Honda put in the adapter. I cannot live without my IPOD.

Have you gone to a local place that sells radios and such for cars...that installs them...talk to an installer. They seem to know more than the sells people.

You can buy the devices at Wally's for not much money. It plugs into your cigarette lighter and you set the frequency that you want it broadcast on. Plug your Ipod into it, then turn your radio to that FM frequency and baam..there you go.
Pretty easy.

I got mine off the shelf at Circuit City for $20 or so. I don't use it that often, so I don't recall the brand. If you're that into the Ipod as your mode of music, and you plan to keep the car for a while, it might be worth the investment for the real system. Shop around, though - any car alarm installer will do it for you, probably for less than the dealership.

Thanks for the replies.
I have tried several different systems...nothing that works properly. Will go another route, I guess.
Thanks.

Here's an idea that hasn't been mentioned...
Go buy a new car.
See, that was easy. Ha.

I have an '07 Honda Accord...
Stereo is awesome and I have XM...just want a solution to my IPOD and can't believe it didn't automatically come with an auxillary plug like most new vehicles.
But thanks for the suggestions...
