As soon as my husband wakes up (yes, I know, it's sad that he's still in bed....but he works nights) I am going to make him get dressed and take me to either TGIFridays (since I have a coupon) or the Chinese buffet. I can't decide which sounds better......

it is the only pickle that i will ever eat. it's basically pickled watermelon rinds.
my mother used to make them way back when and she hasn't made them for probably close to 30 years but i found someone at the church bazaar that made them and they are about as close to mom's as i'm ever going to get. i ate half the damned jar.
