I was talking about Spike and Mrs. Spike. I am praying for them to make it. I am so proud of them for giving it another go.
I will always ALWAYS love my first love (HS boyfriend) and my exh. The love for them though is a small little fleck in my heart compared to the love for my children, husband, parents, etc. I think once you really love someone you will always love them. The love just changes. I HATE my exh also for abandoning the kids.

If my ExWife came back I would not be able to get in the Frount Door Yeah, but you'd get one hell of a payout from your local recycler.

Maybe the problem isn't that they come back, its that we want them to. Maybe if we could resist always leaving that door ajar they wouldn't even try to return. Do we invite this? And if so why? I wish I knew.

I wish I knew. The door only stays ajar if you allow it to be like that. We have the power to slam it shut, lock it, and dead bolt it. We also have the power to leave it open and welcome our loved ones back. The decision is ours to make, right, wrong, or indifferent.
