Congrats. I know many people who have successfully had hip replacement and it has significantly added to the quality of their lives. (Though if you're still managing to crawl into walls, you're doing pretty darn well either way!)

yeah, well......lol the thing is around here, that if i don't do it, no one else will. my husband is not exactly the ........ uh ........ mechanically inclined type and with his current schedule most of the time it's just easier for me to do the stuff that needs to be done, although i pay for it later. besides the prescription stuff that i take every day, i buy tylenol in the convenient economy sized bottles (although taking tylenol for this pain is a little like putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound).
there are days that i can function relatively well. but then there are days like yesterday where i'm in tears from the pain trying to get through the grocery store. i'm ready to get this done and over with.
