This should probably go under something wonderful happened today but it is also a piece of my story....
Three years ago in January there I was... sad, lost, overwhelmed and getting divorced after 10 years of marriage...so late on night I googled divorce support and I found OJAR!
Soon after joining I made my first friend - a unconventional, sarcastic, funny, sometimes surly, loyal southern boy and sports addicted but a wonderful friend - even a Tarheel - no less!
He had this ongoing rival with a witty, kind, soft spoken but equally sarcastic and oh so smart friend - who was both a yellowjacket and a Gator fans!!! We agreed blue and orange are the best team colors!
Needing some estrogen among this motley crue I found a pretty, smart, fun, friend in single motherhood - a girl who teaches the Alphabet.
So fast forward a few years ...life goes by we talk, email and support each other, even through the demise of OJAR...transition to HT and addiction to FB!
So work tells me I have to go to a week of training - 8 hours in a classroom on compliance and take a huge test- oh yuck!!
But as it always happens there is a silver lining - the "Stars and Canes" aligned and today I got to eat lunch with all three!
Something wonderful happened today - good friends and shared souls are the best medicine! Thanks Tar, Alphie and YJ and all the wonderful friends I have made and kept but could not be with today!
