i went to a psychic (at a friend's encouragement) when i was breaking up with my exhusband. i was desperate and skeptical at the same time. i figured that she would say obvious and vague things and ask leading questions. without asking questions, she told me that my husband left me for someone who was younger, shorter, blond and had serious problems (all true!). she told me he was not my soul mate (i never believed he was, nor did i believe in soul mates at the time)- she told me that the love of my life would be very tall, dark and handsome (not a an accurate description of my husband). years later, i am amused that i did it.
i think april 1 is a perfect time for that appointment for so many reasons!

My mother went to see a psychic once and said it was scarily accurate. Let us know how it goes. I'd love to do this even if it is "tampering with the occult" as one of my friends described it.
So Midge, who was the very tall dark and handsome one.... Please tell me you haven't met him yet

I had a tarot card reading when I was right in the thick of my separation. She accurately guessed that I was in the middle of a major break up, and I found it really amusing that the card who came up to represent my ex was the devil card. She told me I was lucky I'd gotten free when I did and to not even contemplate going back. Though that wasn't really even a consideration at that point.
However none of her "predictions" came true. She even gave me a rough timeline when I was supposed to meet an "older man", a scientist of some kind, who would be my next relationship. Um, nope. But she also predicted for my friend that she would be in a major car crash and that didn't happen either, so I guess that's a good thing.

So Midge, who was the very tall dark and handsome one.... Please tell me you haven't met him yet well, the guy who has caused me so much grief in the last three years is definitely dark, definitely handsome and freakishly tall. i'm guessing he is not the one esmerelda said was my soul mate... |

I missed this post before as I was away for awhile....but thought I should reply as I also have an appt with a "clairvoyant" on April 1st. Weird that we both have appointments of that kind on April 1st.
I'm sceptical (to say the least) but made the appointment at the referral of my doctor (who I think very highly of- he's very smart and insightful- but I was more than a little surprised when he outright brought it up)
...the whole thing is more than a little weird...but I am interested to see what this gal has to say. I don't think things are necessarily predictive or "magic" or scary just because they may be outside the range of "normal" human sensory experience.
And I'm not going to her to "get my fortune told"
Keep an open mind....I am going to. And let us know how it works out.

...interesting to hear about how your meeting went. That's kindof funny that she would know about your dog. Was he "there" at the time? Mine knew alot of fairly detailed stuff about my life from the past six years...some of it, I did not even know about but I looked back through records and verified. Just like in your case, she didn't talk about the guy I am currently seeing at all (which I thought was interesting in its own way) but she got a very accurate description of my ex from whoever she was "talking" to. She also brought up some things I knew I was avoiding dealing with regarding him, and I had figured it was a moot point now, but she has me motivated to deal with it and she even gave me some "homework" (I guess you'd say). She described someone that I am going to meet in great detail and was very precise about when and how I am going to meet him, and gave me several unique identifiers which I wrote down....so it will be interesting to see if this actually transpires. I find it odd that all day today I've had a picture in my mind of him- super clear though, not like a daydream or something. Guess that's the power of suggestion though. Anyhow, I've always thought that much of what psychics say is based on projection and them reading your body clues, so I find it especially interesting that she was willing to give me such precise and verifiable details and she also gave details about things that happened when I was unconscious/ anaesthetized that I did not know about (or did not know about in specific detail) and it was super weird to hear her talk about it. Whoever was "telling" her this stuff seemed to talk pretty fast though, or she kept missing bits. Apparently I will have one child.  I didn't ask for details as she was relaying other stuff quite rapidly. And I will eventually remarry at age 49. hmmm. She was very nice and I may go see her again sometime, if she turns out to be accurate. She didn't push for that though, and she didn't pass on anything that seemed really bad, so I figure that's good. |
