4 lg or 6 medium pork chops (dredge in flour and brown salt/pepper both sides)
1 can apple and cinnamon pie filling
grease bottom of 9 x 13 pan & put pie filling on bottom
Place pork choops on top...
Dressing: Saute 1 lg chopped onion and 3 stalks celery & 1/2 c butter...approx 15 minutes until tender...
In lg bowl: 1 pkg peppridge sage & onion stuffing mix. 2 32 oz boxes Swanson Chicken broth (heated to warm) 1 cup raisins cooked in chicken broth until the raisins are plump...
Add onions & celery...
1 1/2 tsp sage 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning 1/2 tsp pepper...
Stir together and place on top of pork chops. Bake covered @ 350' for 45 min - 1 hr...uncover and bake 10 more minutes....
(hint if all bread crumbs are not moist...you can add some milk)...
yummy, cinnamon, apples, stuffing, and pork chops...
I have made this with chicken and turkey too...it is quite yummy!
