Ok, this is mostly for Kerm, but I think everyone should read. If people are going to come to this forum for relationship advice, we need to stop hijacking threads. We need to be able to post and participate in discussions without having people come in a play all over them.
One of the reasons that the great Ojar migration took place and the Darkside began, was because several members no longer showed respect for the boards. They hijacked every thread they entered and all of the sudden Michael found himself having to ban these people in order to get the boards back again.
So I recommend that the playing and the hijacking take place only on the "anything goes" area. And I hope Kerm(Mod) will protect the boards so that they can become a true substitute for Ojar.

I just did 30 minutes on my treadmill. It's my New Years Resolution. So far, so good. I salute your initial effort to get into shape, however, most(I think the statistics show about 90%) people start a workout routine but never finish to get the results they were after. If you're serious about losing weight, then you'd better make sure your commitment is real and not just some weak, half-hearted attempt at bettering yourself. Btw, wizer, what do you think about keeping the hijacking off the upper boards and reserving it for the Guest Book area?

Sweet. I'm glad you agree. Maybe people will begin taking this place seriously. I would like to see it become a viable place for people to discuss realationships and such.

I went a year straight and got my weight down to 192. Then I got divorced. I am topping the scales at about 235. That's a 43 lb weight gain. I wouldnt believe it if I didnt see it with my own eyes. Yes, I agree that there should be no hijacking of the upper boards. My weight gain discussion was in fact a lame attempt to hijack your thread. You missed it, but Kermie didn't. LOL.

Well, although I think it would've been more respectful of you to hold yourself to the same standards you do at eatalone.com by posting a separate thread about the weight loss issue, I'll continue to comment about it. As Yoda said, "do or do not, there is not try". 30 minutes a day is totally do-able. And you can skip the weekends if you must. It's 30 minutes, that's nothing. And in return, you'll have lost that 50 extra pounds in 3 months, provided you reduce your calory intake by about 500 per day and completely cut out any fast food or junk food. This is something you can certainly commit to, and should.
