Nothing major, just find it hard to get to sleep lately. Got any ideas on how I can get to sleep easier?

Well, for me...
I had to do a few things because I get insomnia from time to time.
I started making my bedroom just a relaxing setting... I TRY to stay consistant on the time I go to bed and get up...(not always but do try)... I give myself a wind down period...either writing in my journal or reading...whatever works for you.
I found that lavender was a huge stress reliever for me. I found fabric softner that came in that scent and bought some linen spray at a bath store...so my bed linens smell of lavender and bring me to a comfortable place.
For awhile, I admit that I was forced to take an over the counter sleep aid...but got over that quickly...
For me, it was things that I could control. Eliminate or cut down caffeine, eat better, and exercise. The main thing I found is that I could not shut down my brain...I am a writer and love to jot stuff down...so now, I end my day with my journal...
Hope that helps...

I'm a writer too, but havent written in a while. I really miss that, but alas, too many commitments to focus on my projects. I also havent worked out for almost two weeks now, and I'm stressed. Maybe thats it. I'll definitely try the lavender.
Thanks honey!

A good orgasm before bed, serious. But for me, that is out of the question at least a two party one!

Seriously, I have had a hard time sleeping lately as well and I take prescribed medication to help! I have been awake at promptly 4:00 am everyday this week and I don't know what is causing it, or why my body has chosen 4:00. The thing is I can goto sleep but wake up several times during the night. Oh well...........so much for nocturnal blessings of any kind!

I can never fall asleep either, these days. Once I'm asleep I'm good and sleep pretty well (though I dream too much). Except for the whole getting up at 5:30 for work. It's now 1:50...
