j's mom passed away this morning. things have been going downhill very quickly over the past few days and they've been expecting it, but still......
she got the call at work and is on her way home. j's stepfather had called him this morning and told him to get to the hospital but he didn't make it in time .
ab sounds ok at this point, but things haven't sunk in yet. she's not sure when the funeral is going to be or anything, but is guessing that it's going to be on saturday.
please keep her and the family in your prayers.....

I just talked to her for a few minutes. She's doing good for the moment, getting ready to go to the hospital. She's still in shock.

AB.... I am soooo sorry to hear about this. I know that it hit me hard when my dad passed, and I wasn't all that close to him, so I can't even imagine what you and J are dealing with right now! Hugs, and you are in my prayers!

Rough to lose a parent. The fact that it's expected cushions the blow, but only slightly.

I don't want to call now, I know you are going through so many emotions, including numb. Whatever you are feeling, whenever, you can call me, I will be there. That includes in the middle of the night. I am so sorry for your loss.

Thanks for all your thoughts guys..............For right now, we're ok......just trying to deal with things as they come. Still not sure when the funeral or anything is going to be.....we should know more about that tomorrow.

Funeral is going to be on Monday.  For now we are both ok, just trying to prepare for the funeral.........not sure how well that's going, but, ya know. J's still sleeping. He slept better last night than he did the night before.....which is a relief. He tossed and turned something fierce Wednesday night. I can hear him snoring now........lol. God I love that man....... |
