Well, i've been sick long enough. The girls are coming home today and the cupboards were bare since i haven't felt like eating in a the past whatever it's been. I went to the grocery store and am about to embark on preparing the following meals: Scalloped potatoes and ham Meatloaf (half venison, half turkey) I am making enough for two meals of each. Yumm Yumm

I always make enough for two meals....saves a ton of cooking time.
Even i I just brown the beef ahead of time it helps.

Cooking while sick is the worst. Ugh.
I happen to make the best meatloaf in the world (along with my mom -- her recipe.) All turkey. The problem with making a loaf for one is that you get soooo sick of it after a while...

the idea of freezing meatloaf is so unappetizing... the other night i had peanut butter and crackers for dinner.

three hours of cooking and I have three nights' dinners in the freezer plus a pan of blueberry crumble in the oven. Dishes are even done.
