oh and i did print out all the good wishes but she has not read them yet. she knows about it and is thankful for everyones support. im sure she will read them soon. we are planning on having a birthday party for her when shes home and well enough to enjoy it as she spent it in the hospital. she hates all of that kind of stuff but too bad lol. it will be fun and huge relief to have her home. she has nearly no memory of the first week or so which in my mind is good. im not sure how much she will remember of the rest.

yes ive learned that during all of this stuff and the mess that brought her to this forum. she tends to minimize things though and we keep having to remind her of the reality of what is what at the moment . shes thought a few times she can just leave and go home. twice now she has gotten out of bed in the night with no assitance. of course shes been given hell for it.

also if any of you have contact with her once she is home keep in mind she will probably have short term memory problems for awhile. shes aware of it herself. it should dissappear in time.

When I had my accident on my Bike when I was a Kid it was a long time before a could rember the accident.
I knew who I was, and the people around me.
But the accident took a long time to rember what happened.
Dont worry about trying to rember that.

You needed the rest...you will be better for it now. You must have been exhausted.

LadyJ'sson... I know others have already said this, but I wanted to add my own comment... Reading your posts on this board leads me to one inescapable conclusion -- you're one helluva good kid. That just confirms the opinion I've formed of your mother since I've gotten the chance to know her better on this board. My thoughts and prayers are with you both through all of this, and I hope that she makes that full recovery soon. Let her know that The Dragon is pulling for her, will you? Sean

Lungs are clearer today. mentally and emotionally. a strange day to say the least but shes better physically. did not stay too long as she was quite tired. everyone keeps saying one day at a time and that is what we are doing. she read the log i printed out and told me to tell everyone thank you for all the well wishes and support. it meant a lot to her.
