I used to love going there. My aunt's third husband had 3 kids that spent half of the year in Puerto Rico and always spent the summers with them. It was a great gig to be their chauffer/cousin to all the water parks and theme parks. What a great way to spend the summer!

Woo Hoo! My kids love Roller coasters and were so disappointed last year when they were too small for some. Go have a blast!

Busch Gardens, Williamsburg is considered top rated among theme parks. We will be down there in May...trying to decide between doing BG or going to Kings Dominion in Richmond.

that's funny, williamsburg used to be our most frequent vacation spot. only went to busch gardens once though -- spent most of the time in the colonial part.

BG is probably better than KD but I was at BG a couple of years ago, so it might be time to try something new.

I'd rather go there than KD any day. We will be staying near charlottesville in a town called Palmyra...dad lives in a community called "Lake Monticello". Any of you Virginians ever hear of it? We will be probaby about the same distance from both parks...

Ok I just added that to my list of reasons to go to KD.
I used to be a sleepaway counselor in "camp Timber Ridge"..ever hear of it? We would head over to KD once or twice a summer with the kids. That was more than 20 years ago.
