why must it be our responsibility to "get you?" why can't you take some responsibility for being decent once in a while? just because you don't like someone, or even if you hate them, it doesn't mean you need to make an ass of yourself by constantly providing unsolicited poor judgement posts.
how does that make you feel better?

Fre, here's the thing. It's no one's responsibility to "get me". You owe me nothing, I owe you nothing. But truth is, the people that find my posts offensive, are the ones who seem to miss the underlying wit and humor that only the more intelligent people understand. So what happens is, those of us in the upper echelons of the population in terms of IQ have a good laugh at posts such as mine, while the ones who don't get it due to their inherent lack of perception, understanding, smarts, whatever you want to call it, get all bent out of shape and offended and say "he's an ass" or words to that effect. So to summarize: My posts are sort of an IQ test. If you read them and say, "this guy is one funny dude", then you are smart. Gvie yourself a pat on the back. If you say "he's an ass" well then, don't go build any rocketships...you know?

btw, i think you should get your damn ladder. Why? Because you feel bad that I am getting screwed and I should just step up to the plate and not take it anymore? Or because you want to see me get tossed in the slammer because I violated a judge's order awarding temporary sole occupancy of the marital residence to my stbxw?

idoc,
Years from now you won't even give a shit about that ladder....or any of that other stuff....but your girls would have the memory of you being carted off by the police etched into their minds forever. Just let her keep all that household shiat....it's not worth the legal fees and all the other costs associated with doing a supervised walk through of the house, seriously (Unless you have highly valuable collectables or something). Not to mention it not being worth the emotional costs, for any of you.
Plus, you know she's just keeping the ladder from you to be a bitch, so I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of knowing I was POed about it, if it were me. Just saying.

Kittenhart,
I told her she can keep the old rusty dented ladder, that I will buy a new one. I don't let her know that this stuff bugs me. I may be impulsive and do crazy things sometimes but I am not going to put myself in a position where I could be arrested.
I'm not sure about the walkthrough..on one hand its a matter of the items not being worth it, on the other, there are things in there that belong to me and have been part of my life for over 45 years and I just dont want to give them up just like that.

It's pretty pitiful that she would act this way over a ladder but i agree with kittenheart that it isn't worth the hassle.
Petty is as petty does.
Jesus my ex husband had it made. I was pretty darn tolerant.

Is she not decent enough to at least give you those personal things of yours out of her own sense of decency?

Maybe if you had someone else ask her for your personal things....things from your childhood etc. I mean really, what would she want them for anyhow?
